How can I win "Club Player of
the Month?"
It's dead simple.

Here at Wellington United, we like to recognise the efforts of all players in the Club, regardless of what Gender, Division or position
you play in. It's about getting out there, giving it a crack and having a good time.

Every week, your Captain (or nominate delegate) will submit a match report from your latest game. As part of the Match report, he will
provide the goalscorers and the names of the 3 best players on the day. The Player of the Day will ger 3 points, next best player will
get 2 points, and the 3rd best player on the day will get 1 point.

The Club collates the points, and keeps a running total of the points through the whole season. Each Month though, the player who
has collated the most points for the games played in that
month only, will win Player of the Month.

At season end, a total tally of the points will be made, and the player with the most points collated through the year will win "Club
Player of the Year". Last years very popular and well deserved winner was
Gary Bird from the Division 3 "Dreamers".

So, how do you win "Club Player of the Month" or even "Club Player of the Year"?

As mentioned, it's dead simple. Play as well as you can, enjoy yourself, and
make sure your Captain send through the points every
week!!!

Then get along to the Club Prizegiving to see who has won the "Club Player of the Year".
