Wgtn Utd Whirlwinds 2 vs IBU Eels Goal scorers: Faizaan Faisal (2) 22 August against IBU Eels win 2:0. WU goals were scored by Faizaan Faisal 2 (player of the match). All goals were again scored in the first half. A real tussle ensured in the second half, although the Whirlwinds were very close to scoring four more goals (Ethan had two on the posts). Wgtn Utd Dynamos 4 vs Karori Vipers 1 Goal scorers: Will and Dipanshu A great day for football and a hard ground meant that it was always going to be a good game. We started the game one man down but that did not deter the team. Will and Dipanshu made sure that we were 3-0 up before our reinforcements arrived and some fantastic defence by Flo at the back meant Karori could not get near the goal. Dynamos continued to dominate the first half and went into half-time 4-0 ahead. Karori were determined in the second half to come back and they did eventually get 1 through the goal. A great 4-1 win and a big thanks to the players from the 9th grade team who came to our rescue! |
